Fireworks on the New Year is a Texas tradition and this year we have heard them going off since early in the evening. With our severe drought this summer there was no fireworks on the 4th; believe me people are making up for lost time this evening. I just heard on the news the fireworks stands are doing record sales! Our dog and cats will be happy when we ring in the New Year!
