Shopping is plentiful in the Cypress Fairbanks region. The two main crossroads for Cypress are FM 1960 at U.S. Highway 290 and at State Highway 249. Almost everything you could possible need in the way of shopping are located within that area. Willowbrook Mall located at Fm 1960 and State Hwy 249 features a variety of retailers. Willowbrook mall includes everything from Macy's, Sears and Dillard’s to specialty stores including Williams Sonoma, Ann Taylor, Abercrombie & Fitch, Banana Republic and many more.

Sam Houston Raceway

Sam Houston Raceway is located near the intersection of Sam Houston Toll Road and State Highway 249. The 240 Acre park includes live horse racing, two restaurants and eight bars. Live entertainment is often available on the weekends.

Golf

Golf is played at Cypress Golf Club (9 holes), Black horse Golf Club and Longwood Golf Club a semi-private club featuring 18 holes. Cypress is also close to several more courses in the FM 1960 area.
