Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature CenterJesse Jones Park and nature center is located in a heavily wooded area. There are 5 miles of hiking trails meandering through the woods, going across boardwalks and over a pond, ending at the sandy shores of Spring Creek. Programs and exhibits on plant and animal life and special children's program take place in the Nature Center Building. Mercer Arboretum and Botanical GardensMercer Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is a 214-acre facility with formal gardens. The arboretum has gardens and nature trails, along with a picnic area. Meyer ParkAnother Spring Texas Park, Meyer Park is located at 7700 Cypresswood Drive, Spring Texas 77379. Meyer Park is a 286-acre facility with 26 lighted soccer fields, two unlighted softball fields, a picnic pavilion, several small pavilions and gazebos, walking trails, nature trails, a duck pond, a five-acre fishing lake, picnic tables, barbecue grills, a playground. Collins ParkCollins Park is located at 6727 Cypresswood Drive in Spring Texas. It is a 55 acre facility with five lighted softball fields, four lighted baseball fields, one unlighted soccer field, one lighted basketball pavilion, playgrounds, a gazebo and several small pavilions, an amphitheater, nature trails, picnic tables, barbeque grills, and rest rooms.
