Tomball Museum
The Tomball Museum Complex on Pine Street features restored buildings. The Farm Museum has one of the oldest surviving cotton gins in Texas. A country doctor’s office, a log cabin, a country gazebo and a 1905 Trinity Evangelical Church are components of Tomball’s historic preservation. The Chaparral Genealogical Society at 310 North Live Oak Street was established 20 years ago. In its library, there are 3,000 books, fische and microfiche available for research. Volunteers are on hand to offer their assistance Monday – Wednesday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Regional Arts CenterServing the city of Tomball Texas and nearby communities for nearly 10 years, The Regional Arts Center of Tomball promotes music, plays and other entertainment programs. Stressing quality and professionalism, the Center is a volunteer organization. The Royal Arts Ball, sponsored by the Center, is a major fund raising and social event of the season. Season subscriptions are offered. Performances are held in various locations in and around the Tomball area. GolfGolf is played at Tomball Country Club (9 holes), Treeline Golf Course and Houston Oaks Golf Club (formerly Links at Tennwood) featuring 18 holes. Tomball is also close to the 81 hole golfing complex at the Woodlands and several more courses in the FM 1960 area. Special events in the City of Tomball TexasCommunity spirit, friendliness and fun enjoyed by local residents are reflected by the special events scheduled in Tomball throughout the year.
